We are excited to host you for our 38th season in 2026! This year we will operate rain or shine seven days per week beginning Saturday, June 13 through Monday, September 7. We are anticipating a busy summer and strongly recommend making reservations

Our ticket booth is the bright yellow booth located in Fisherman’s Wharf Inn in Boothbay Harbor - 22 Commercial Street, Boothbay Harbor, Maine 04538.

Please plan to arrive at our ticket booth one hour prior to departure for check-in and ticketing. We accept cash and check only at the booth, on the boat, and on the island - including the bar and gift shop. We do not accept credit or debit cards.

Menu & Tickets

Guests are treated to a cup of steaming fish chowder, two lobsters, one pound of fresh steamer clams, corn on the cob, potato, onion, egg, and our famous blueberry cake. Included with each meal is coffee, tea, iced tea, and water. We also have a full cash bar available.

Split Meals (For two children or parent and child)

Tickets are $140 per duo. If children want a lobster or chicken meal but can’t eat it all, they are welcome to share a split meal with another child or a parent. Split meals include two boat tickets, the clambake, chowder, and cake.

Please Note: Split meals are intended only for two children to share or for a parent to share with their child. Two adults may not share a split meal.

Ticket Booth & Check-In

Our ticket booth is located at Pier 6 at Fisherman’s Wharf Inn,
22 Commercial Street, Boothbay Harbor.
Please check in here to pay and retrieve your tickets before boarding.

Children & Kids Meals

• Children 18 months and under ride the boat free.

• For children 11 and under, we offer a children’s meal for $50, which includes:

  • Chowder

  • Two seared hot dogs

  • Chips & pickles

  • Blueberry cake

  • Free drink

  • Boat ride + meal included

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are not required but we strong recommend them! We sell out most days.

Group Reservations

Groups of 10 or more are asked to book under one name so we can reserve the best seating for your party.
Groups of 10+ may reserve at any time by calling 207-633-7200.

Private Parties

We host private events on select evenings during the season, including rehearsal dinners and corporate events.

Do you accept credit or debit cards? 

We accept cash and checks only at:

• The ticket booth

• On the boat

• The bar

• The gift shop

We do not accept credit or debit cards.

Can I bring my dog? 

Dogs and other pets are not permitted due to health code regulations.
Please leave your four-legged friends at home.

Can I bring my own boat? 

• Personal boats and watercraft cannot be accommodated.

• All guests must arrive and depart on the Bennie Alice.

Can I visit the island without purchasing a clambake?

• No. We ask that all our guests come and go on the Bennie Alice.

• The island is a private residence and we ask that you respect the family’s privacy.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Outside alcohol is not permitted.
We hold liquor licenses on both the boat and the island and offer a full selection of beer, wine, spirits, and soft drinks.

Is there lodging on the island?

We do not offer lodging on the island.
There are many inns, B&Bs, campgrounds, and hotels in the Boothbay region.

Cancellation Policy

We are extremely busy this season and require all groups to cancel or modify their reservations no less than 48 hours prior to departure. Any group that does not do so, will not be refunded their deposit.

Parking

The Town of Boothbay Harbor has four municipal parking lots all conveniently located easily within walking distance to the downtown area including our ticket booth.
The locations of the parking lots are as follows:

• Footbridge Parking Lot (next to the footbridge at the head of the harbor), Atlantic Avenue, Boothbay Harbor

• Howard Street #1 Parking Lot (adjacent to Town Office), 11 Howard Street, Boothbay Harbor

• Howard Street #2 Parking Lot (across from the Memorial Library.), 4 Oak St, Boothbay Harbor

• The Oak Street Parking Lot (adjacent to Boothbay Harbor Post Office), 15 Oak St, Boothbay Harbor

Food Allergens

• Chowder is dairy-based but contains no flour or thickeners.

• Vegetables are cooked separately from shellfish.

• Chickens are prepared separately in the kitchen.

• Blueberry cake contains gluten and dairy, but no nuts.

For parties of 9 or fewer, we are excited to announce that you may book and manage your reservations online! Please follow the link below to our managing platform. Please note: These are JUST reservations and we DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS.

For parts of 10 or larger, please call our ticket booth at 207-633-7200 and a booking agent will be happy to assist with your reservation!

Gift Certificates
